This is 8 year old Zziwa Charles. He was abandoned by his mother at the age of 4 and he  now lives at the Nelish shelter. Charles' father is an alcoholic and a victim of HIV.
He can’t even look after himself. Charles is with us at the shelter in need of a sponsor.

This is Mikisa Derrick! His father died at a very young age, his mother is a single struggling woman who also eats at the shelter to survive . Her only child needs a chance to get a sponsor and join school.

This is Herman serunjogi. He was abandoned by his family and left at the shelter. He is in need of love, support, and education. 

This is Nabukenya Annet. Her mother was a victim of rape at a very early age, she abandoned her child as she never know the father and she had no means of caring and providing for her. Annet is now grown and she needs a sponsor for her education.

Serunjogi Herman is not able to attend school because he has no parent sponsor. He looks forward to returning to school soon with your help!

This is Muwanguzi Ishadi. He doesn’t know who his parents are. He was picked from the street homeless and sick, he now lives at the shelter. He desires to have the opportunity to study. 

This is Kusaasira shadia. She an her sister were together on the streets. Shadia never wanted to leave her alone on the streets so the two came to the orphanage. She also wants to study.

Nakamya Rashida lost both of her parents died to HIV in the same month. Her grandmother brought her to the shelter because she was too old to care for her. Her grandmother past away one year later.  She's now living with us at the shelter and hopes to be able to receive and education soon!

Naku Aisha is a daughter of an alcoholic addicted couple who don’t even bother how they live in life. Aisha was found in a house left alone for 2 days without food when we rescued her. She is with us at the shelter after consent from the parents. She also needs a chance to get a sponsor for her education.

Mukisa Dickson has both his parents and they visit him at the shelter, his mother got a terrible car accident that she can’t even take care of her self and the father is working but all he gets goes towards caring for the disabled wife. They cannot afford to send a child to school but he needs a chance to join.

 

 

 

 

Sanyu is 9 years old. She is HIV positive and the father is an alcoholic. Her mom dumped her at the age of 2yrs. She had a sponsor 1 year back but we lost communication with him.

This is Raymond Kabiito. His mother abandoned him when he was two years old. He has only had one year of school in the past but is currently illiterate. 

This is Prossi. She is now 14. One year ago she taken advantage of a gave birth to a little girl. She was abandoned by her family as a result of what happened to her. She would like to return to school, but has not support as of now.
